Mars 2020
Mars 2020 is the unmanned Mars research mission of the US space agency NASA launched in July 2020. The unmanned probe consists of: a cruise module, a lander with a crane and Martian vehicles: the Perseverance rover and the Ingenuity helicopter. The whole thing was launched from launch pad No.41 of the military airbase at Cape Canaveral with the Atlas V rocket, variant 541, on July 30, 2020 at 11:50 UTC. Landing at Jezero Crater took place as planned on February 18, 2021. The rover landed at 20:56 UTC.
The landing was fully successful. The rover was not damaged and at around 21:00 UTC sent the first photos from the surface.
